‘Liking’ posts with the Tumblr API
Inspired by Wordpress’ seriously clever use of Loren Brichter’s new Tweetie options, we’re launching our own Tweetie and Twitterrific compatible API. This Twitter-like API should make it easy for a lot of existing Twitter clients to start supporting Tumblr. The really cool thing - because our following models follow a lot of the same principles, we’ve been able to take advantage of a ton of...

Attention Comedians
The construct of your gags this week is: The Terrorists are trying to take our freedom! But, they failed. So now we can’t take iPods on planes. Pause. Witty remark of shallow political comentary. This joke will still work even when it turns out that we can take iPods on planes, because no-one will be paying attention. End on witty remark of shallow cultural comentary.

Doesn’t matter. I’ve started posting UI rants and observations there. For now. Whether it’s the right tool for the job (as opposed to Tumblr, or Flickr) remains to be seen.
