This was a long time coming, but I’ve finally pushed the redesigned and updated microformats.org wiki live. This is satisfying both because I’m confident that it’s a massive improvement on the old MediaWiki theme we used, and because it marks an important milestone in me announcing that I’m going to do something, and actually following through on it.

Fascinating electoral maps of the US, adjusting for electoral college, popular vote and (much to my delight) the divide within states and counties. Gives a much better representation of the country than the standard state electoral map.

The ideological route is to reject Twitter for not providing a suitable API.
Alternatively, could you leave password authentication out altogether and leave it to the browser to prompt users for the username and password...
